IRIC brings together many internationally renowned investigators who develop collaborations within academia as well as with pharmaceutical companies, and contribute to a joint effort to discover and develop more effective drugs. The project that I am currently developing in the lab of Michel Bouvier in collaboration with Anchor Therapeutics is based on this principle. Also, the Institute houses cutting-edge scientific core facilities supervised by experts in the field thereby allowing me to test my research hypotheses in a very specific way.
