Are you interested in the courses on cancer and immunology in your training program so that you do not mind studying all night long?
Biomedical research interests you and you wish to have a first immersion in the field;
Or, you already have a laboratory experience and want to learn more about cancer and immunology?
Are you looking for a dynamic and stimulating internship in an innovative research institute whose mission is to have a significant impact on the fight against cancer?
The 2019 IRIC Next Generation program is looking for a bachelor student like you! This program will give you an opportunity to receive a competitive scholarship and a research position in a laboratory of the Insitute for Research in Immunology and Cancer in the summer 2019.

Competition starting date

12 to 16 weeks (35 hours / week)
The internship start and end dates will be decided between the awardees and their supervisor.
$4,250 for a 12-week internship
$5,670 for a 16-week internship
Awards are valid for summer 2019 and cannot be cumulated with other awards.

You must select three projects within this list and indicate your selection in the space provided on the application form. You must also describe the reasons behind your selection of projects in the letter of intent included in your application package.

Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee composed of IRIC principal investigators.
The evaluation will based on the following criteria:
Knowledge of French will not be taken into account when evaluating applications.
If your application is accepted by the selection committee, it will be sent to IRIC researchers. The researchers will then select the candidates they would like to meet in an interview (in person, by telephone or by internet).
Results will be communicated in March 2019.
The IRIC Next Generation Internship Awards program does not cover travel and accommodation expenses incurred by students during their internship at the IRIC.
