Core facilities

IRIC is home to 11 state-of-the-art core facilities and one of the largest animal facilities in the country.

These core facilities are specifically designed to support integrative research and offer a breadth of services to users at IRIC, the Université de Montréal and the scientific community, both academic and industrial.
For more information on the services, please visit the facility’s web page. Please note that as of September 1st, 2017 new service fees will be in effect. The new price list is available here.

Also, IRIC has set up a Drug Discovery Unit that rests on coordination between the 10 core facilities at IRIC, and the Biopharmacy core facility of Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Pharmacy. Drug discovery activities of the unit range from development of biological assays and identification of small molecules directed against specific therapeutic targets to preclinical drug optimization and validation in animal models.
